Sitting room, with wood burning stove, TV with DVD player, books and board games. Sun-porch with sofa, seating and great views across the local area. Kitchen with a dining area for 6, range cooker (electric multifunction and fan ovens and a gas hob), crockery and cutlery, utensils and cooking equipment, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Shower room with electric shower, WC and wash-hand basin. Main bedroom, with king-size bed, clothes organiser and bedside tables. |
Upper Floor
Two twin bedrooms, each with two single beds, bedside tables and clothes organisers. WC and wash-hand basin in the cupboard off the upper landing. Barn and Garden
In the barn there is a utility area with a condensing tumble dryer, extra fridge and freezer and a clothes pulley. There are also a junior size table tennis and small pool table to entertain kids (& big kids alike) on wetter days. At the back of the garden is a firepit area with seating. |
Bed linen is not provided - please bring your own duvet covers, pillow cases and sheets for any beds you use. Likewise you should bring towels and tea towels. There is a supply of linen if you forget anything, but if you do use any of it, please launder it before you leave. The shop at Timsgarry has installed a laundry, capable of dealing with large items and duvets.
An oil-fired combi boiler supplies hot water on demand and runs the central heating, which is programmed to run on 'auto'.
There is WiFi available and mobile phones get a good signal at the house.
The community shop at Timsgarry, 4 miles away, is very well stocked so you do not need to take huge quantities of supplies with you. The shop has a liquor licence, petrol and diesel pumps and a post office.
There will be basic provisions in the kitchen which you are welcome to use; please replace any you use before the end of your stay.
Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided. Please leave the house as you find it and let us know right away by phone of any problem or breakage. If you can, please replace any breakage before you leave. Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Well-behaved, house-trained dogs may be welcome, but not on the furniture. All other pets are not permitted.
